Tiny streams of much routine
Are all it seems between brown leaves
I sit and dream of things once seen
Of fields of green and waves supreme
But dare I stay so long today
On autumns gown I lye and bathe
In red and gold I start to pray
For seas of green and perfumed winds
They kiss my soul and hide within
But now I've stayed too long today
I rise and tuck my dreams away
No more to think of summer days
The sun retires and shows the way
